And that's a wrap....
As we look back at our strange wonderful summer, we will most value the visitors to our farm on Lookout Mountain. The lavender has all been harvested, the berries picked and we are so grateful to those who supported our beloved business in this uncertain year. We absolutely loved sharing our peaceful place with those seeking solace, beauty and a setting to soothe away (at least for a few hours) the troubles of the world.
Where do we go from here? Our farm store will be open one more Saturday this summer (8/15, 11 am-4 pm) and then again the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We will be featuring our lavender home and body products, our dried lavender bundles from our field, and lavender plants. We usually host a Lavender 101 class in the fall, but with the virus still in our midst, it seems most practical to skip this time and wait until spring. We will be working on some projects – revamping our website, improving the farm, and exploring new lavender products to offer. We also will be taking some overdue time off to drive out west, making sure to visit other lavender farms along the way!
In the meantime, our online store remains open and we hope you will give our products a try. We have a loyal following and for that we are so very thankful. COVID-related supply chain issues have made it difficult to obtain necessary components (bottles, dispensers, ingredients) and that has hampered our ability to keep the online store fully stocked. These issues are slowly getting resolved so we are hopeful to have all items available very soon.
Please feel free to contact us, either through our website, social media, or our email, alice@lookoutlavender.com and stay tuned for special events this fall and holiday season!
Thanks again, y’all. It was our joy to share this memorable summer with you–
Alice and Bill Marrin
