How do you best learn?

How do you best learn? From books? Maybe videos? Or perhaps, from others?

For me it has always been from others – especially when observing what not to do! :-)

But with the pandemic with our social distancing norms, that has been difficult. It has been with great joy that our national lavender organization, The US Lavender’s Growers Association decided to hold our canceled conference virtually.

While I can’t physically be with my colleagues, I am grateful that technology and willingness have provided an opportunity for me to learn from them. Whether it is best planting practices, farm marketing, lavender culinary techniques or the latest innovations in our industry, I have once again learned from those more experienced than I.
